I think Princess Giselle (Enchanted)  said it best, “how do you know you love her?”

There are many ways to show someone you love them, and it all comes back to the five love languages. Some people like words of affirmation, while others prefer gifts; if you are like me, you enjoy the simple things. Spending time with loved ones and hugs are some of my favorite things, and I will never refuse if someone does something kind for me.

“One word frees

us of all the weight

and pain of life:

That word is love.”

– Sophocles

Oftentimes our daily lives are swamped with meetings and must do’s that help us get ahead, and it is important to remember to show love to both yourself and those you love. Give your significant other a hug or kiss, remind them why you love them, make the time to go out with them, surprise them with something that could make them smile, and maybe you will be surprised by their reaction. Like a business, where it takes money to make money, love takes work to make magic. Miss Tinkerbelle, where are you with your magic Pixie Dust? Most relationships are built on these 3 fundamentals: love, trust and, of course, pixie dust.

Any real romantic or match maker will tell you: “love is an open door.” If you want to show yourself or others some love, don’t forget to treat yourself or somebody to a dose of kindness and add your own dramatic flair. If you love shopping, treat yourself after all your hard work; if you have a boyfriend or girlfriend, show up for them when it counts. Love is a formula; it is written like this:

love = kindness + friendship.

XOXO,

Andrea
