Over the years, my vanity has turned into a display table for pretty glass bottles of perfumes. I’ve always loved the idea of having a “signature scent”: a perfume that I turn to every day and smells like me. Unfortunately, I discovered that I love too many fragrances to pick just one. So, as my collection has grown, I’ve narrowed down four amazing scents that make me feel (and smell) like a goddess. Here are my top recommendations:
- Kate Spade: Walk On Air
-
- This perfume is floral, light, and fresh! I often wear this perfume as a daytime scent. It’s described as smelling of lily of the valley, magnolia, and crinum lily. This is by far my favorite and I turn to it so frequently!
- At retail on the Kate Spade website, this perfume is about $75 for 1.7oz (which is a lot on a college budget!). My personal recommendation for buying this perfume is to check out various TJMaxx stores! It’s not guaranteed that they’ll have it, but I’ve found it on several occasions, and the price drops significantly.
- Philosophy: Amazing Grace
-
- This perfume is subtle, delicate, and clean–a perfect feminine fragrance with key notes of bergamot and Muguet blossoms. I constantly get compliments on this perfume! To make it even better, Philosophy has an entire product collection with this scent including shampoo, body wash, and lotion.
- Macy’s is the easiest place to pick up this perfume and it’s listed as $62 for 2oz. If you love the collection thought, Macy’s has a sale right now on a 3-piece set including the 2oz perfume, a travel-sized rollerball perfume, and their lotion for $60!
- Lancôme: Idôle
-
- This perfume not only smells amazing but also boasts a strong message of female empowerment and environmental awareness! Idôle smells of pink peppercorn, rose, and jasmine to leave you smelling incredible. This perfume’s motto is “be your own idol”, and I love having that reminder every time I wear it! Lancôme is also currently working on bringing refill stations of this perfume to the U.S. to lower the price and environmental impact of replacing perfume!
- Idôle is definitely on the higher end for perfume at $99 for 1.7oz (but so worth it!)
- Coach: Floral
-
- This perfume, despite the name, takes on scents of pineapple sorbet and crystal musk. Its definitely one of stronger perfumes on this list and makes a statement when I wear it! This is one I like to wear when going out!
- Coach Floral retails at Macy’s for $82 for 1.7oz but I got mine at TJMaxx for under $50!
