Dupes for your favorite beauty and skincare products:

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at American chapter.

Everyone loves having good quality products, but after a while, the cost can add up. You should be able to enjoy some amazing products without spending hundreds! Here are some of our favorite beauty dupes for high-end products.

Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream vs Tree Hut Tropic Glow

The Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream has become a skincare staple in many of our collections. This luxurious lotion has notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla, leaving your skin smelling like a dream. But at $45 per container, it is not a cheap essential.

If you are not looking to spend too much, try the Tree Hut Tropic Glow body lotion. This tropical scent is sure to turn heads. It smells so similar to the original with notes of almond, warm amber and sandalwood. This lotion is perfect for all seasons while also providing your skin with the moisture and nourishment that it needs, plus it’s only $8.99!

Becca Shimmering Skin Protector vs Maybelline Chrome Highlighter

If you are a fan of highlighters, you are probably familiar with the Becca Shimmering Skin Protector. The shade ‘champagne pop’ was definitely a staple in my makeup collection. Sadly, the brand Becca, formerly found at Sephora, went out of business in September of 2021. But don’t worry! For those of you who were fans of their highlighters, there is an amazing dupe that is under $10!

The Maybelline Master Chrome Metallic Highlighter is a perfect alternative to your favorite high-end highlighters. It provides a beautiful golden glow to your face without looking chalky or cakey. They offer a variety of different shades to complement various skin tones and undertones.

Nars Orgasm Blush vs Milani Baked Blush

Nars offers a variety of luxurious cosmetics which can be found at Sephora. The Nars blush in the shade ‘orgasm’ is a well-known product that many beauty influencers rave about. It gives your cheeks a natural, peachy pink glow. However, at $30 it is not a friend to your bank account.

Luckily, the Milani Baked Blush in the shade ‘luminoso’ is a perfect dupe! Because it is baked, this blush is a mixture of various peachy, pink and tan tones, giving your cheeks more dimension and a beautiful glow. Did I mention that it is also under $10? The next time you are at a drugstore, pick this up!

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc vs Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk

Tom Ford is well known not only for their clothes, but also for their perfumes. Tom Ford’s perfume ‘Soleil Blanc’ became famous for its sophisticated yet beachy scent, featuring notes of bergamot, pistachio, and coco de mer. It is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. This perfume sells for $360 for a 3.4 oz bottle.

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, we’ve got you covered! Try Maison Margiela’s Replica Beach Walk perfume. With notes of bergamot, heliotrope and coconut milk, this feminine perfume will transport you to a tropical island. After trying them both, this one is almost identical to ‘Soleil Blanc’, and it’s also less than half the price ($135).

Beauty Blender vs Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

The Beauty Blender is a cult favorite in many makeup collections because it allows you to blend your makeup effortlessly. They are priced at $20 each from Sephora, which is definitely a bit pricey for a makeup sponge. There are so many more affordable makeup sponges that will give you the same results as the Beauty Blender.

If you are looking for a quality makeup sponge on a budget, try the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. This sponge performs the same way that the original Beauty Blender would, and it is also a fraction of the price ($5.99)!

We hope these products help not only your makeup routine, but also your bank account!
