As Halloween slowly creeps into our lives, it’s the perfect time to try some new recipes and have some fun in the kitchen. I’ve gathered a variety of recipes that are perfect for everyone because on Halloween, everyone deserves a treat!

For the parents..

Halloween Charcuterie Board from Foxes Love Lemons

Pair the board with some wine and a nice Halloween movie to enjoy once you put the sugar-crazed kids to bed. This board is a little advanced so if you are too tired to make this one, you can always just put your favorite candy in a bowl of freshly popped popcorn and enjoy the night that way. I love charcuterie boards because they can be so easy to personalize so if you’re up for the challenge, make this recipe your own and enjoy the rest of Halloween night without your hyper kids. Every parent needs a little break!

For the healthy ones..

Green Apple Monsters from The Healthy Table

This recipe is perfect for those who love the occasional candy but want to maintain a healthy diet overall. You can still enjoy Halloween with this adorable creation using things you probably have in your kitchen already! This is a perfect little snack for the kiddos or to have for lunch. Any age can enjoy these little monsters!

For the pets..

Mummy Bones Dog Treats from The Cottage Market

These dog treats are made with Pumpkin and Peanut Butter and are sure to please the dog for a little while as you answer the door to trick-or-treaters! The recipe makes 80 so you can give the extras to neighbors as a little Halloween gift. Even if they can’t eat chocolate — treat them with some homemade bones!

Spooky Cat Biscuits from Petplan

I can’t forget about the cat lovers out there. This link actually provides you with not only the recipe for “Spooky Cat Biscuits” but also two other easy recipes but those require some special mold but if you have those molds, give them a try! You can’t forget to give your pets a little treat on this holiday.

For the kids..

Spider Bites from Food Network

If the pillowcase full of candy isn’t enough for your kids, here is the perfect recipe to entertain them with. Not only will the appearance win them over but it’s tasty as well! It’s honestly probably a healthier option in the long run so it might be a nice break from all the packaged candy.

For the teens..

Halloween Bark from Family Fresh Meals

I made this bark in my cooking class in high school and it was a huge hit so trust me, your teens are going to love it! This is also a great way to get rid of some extra candy if need be — this is another recipe that can be personalized. Honestly, bark is great for any age!

For the 21+..

Vampire’s Kiss Cocktail from A Couple Cooks

Of course, those young adults (and parents who just put their sugar-craved kids to bed) need a little pick-me-up and what’s better than a Halloween themed cocktail! Other than the Chambord and Grenadine, you might have the other ingredients around your house which makes this even easier. You can use this recipe to impress your company or enjoy by yourself as the night falls.

For the grandparents..

Chocolate Chip Cookies (with your own twist) from Sally’s Baking Addiction

Okay, hear me out. What do grandparents love the most other than their kids and grandkids? Cookies. Now how do we make Halloween themed cookies? That’s easy, you know all that candy that your kids dragged home in their pillow cases? Add some chopped up leftover candy to a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe like the one above and you have a delicious treat for the grandparents and you’ve helped yourself out by getting rid of that sugar for your kids.

For the gluten-free..

Gluten-free Sugar Cookies and Icing from Gluten Free On a Shoestring

With this recipe, you can turn a normal sugar cookie recipe into a Halloween treat by simply usually Halloween themed cookie cutters. You can use food coloring to dye the icing and decorate them into scary and fun treats. The possibilities are endless with this one and it can be a fun little activity for the kids!

For the dairy-free..

Vegan Halloween Cupcakes from Keeping the Peas

This recipe allows you to create cupcakes that look like ghosts, monsters, and bats! The variety can make for a fun night for your kids and although they teach you how to make them look like the creatures, you could be spontaneous and decorate the cupcakes in your own way. Just like the gluten-free sugar cookies, the possibilities are endless. And who knew Oreos were vegan — you learn something new everyday! If you want something more simple, you could always just dip oreos into vegan chocolate and decorate them like spiders or some other scary creature.

For the sugar-free..

Halloween Witches’ Finger Cookies from Sugar-free Mom

This recipe is not only sugar-free but also gluten-free so that’s a bonus. This recipe also uses liquid chlorophyll which has many health benefits so I was excited to see it included in this recipe. Perhaps this recipe can get you started on using liquid chlorophyll in your daily routine. Besides that amazing benefit, this recipe is appealing to look at and can be great for a party!

As I said before, everyone deserves a treat so enjoy your Halloween with one of these amazing recipes. The joy of it all is that honestly, anyone will like any of these recipes (of course no one under 21 would like a cocktail) so feel free to enjoy any and all of them!
