As a long-time fan of Harry Styles and his former career as a member of One Direction member, I knew I had to get tickets for his Halloween show. I have seen him live countless times before, even a a few times this year. I was excited about this new show and what he was going to do because there was not a lot of information on what this show would like be so we were all in for a surprise.
Harry Stylesâs Harryween, Fancy Dress Party was an awesome place to be on Halloweekend. Everyone was dressed up in an array of costumes that had the whole arena glittering from wherever you looked. He had two openers, Madison Cunningham and Orville Peck, who did about 20-minute sets on stage to help get the crowd hyped up for the main act. Although I have never heard of either of them before, they both put on a great performance and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it.
Personally, I went to both performances, but each night was a little different than the other, making it special and exciting to come back for more. When Harry first came out as Dorothy, I was freaking out! Not only because he looked so good, but my friend who came to the concert with me was with was also dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.
Harry was super interactive with the crowd and looked like he was having the most fun time onstage. I always tell people that Harry Styles concerts are basically just him rocking out and vibing on stage for 90 minutes, and those two nights were no exception.
The second night was just as magical as the first. Harry and his band were dressed as clowns, but not in a cheesy way, more of an artistic and abstract look. He sang his unreleased song âMedicineâ and covered Britney Spearsâs âToxicâ and those were definitely the highlights of the night. The crowd was so electric and filled with energy all for Harry.
Overall, this was definitely an incredible concert. The energy and love that was filled in the room that night is unmatched. Harry creates such a safe space for so many people and his concerts always feel very welcoming and inviting. I hope Harryween isnât a one time thing, and look forward to going again in the future!
