A poem dedicated to the spiritual rebirth that spring evokes in me. We have finally made it through this dark winter. The sun is rising and so am I.
The sun wakes me up every morning with a
kiss.
Softly all over my body I feel
alive.
Buzzing with new energy as the trees fill
and
the leaves turn green
again.
This is my
rebirth.

The cold no longer holds my wrists
down.
The warmth unlocks my doors
beckoning
me to inhale the outside air and
breathe.
In and out once
again.
This is my
rebirth.
