On a long car ride home, my sister decided to show me a podcast she had been listening to with my brother-in-law. When she first brought up the podcast, I didn’t know how to feel about it. Like many others, I thought podcasts weren’t that interesting, but let me tell you, they are far from boring.

For those who don’t know, Crime Junkie is a true-crime podcast hosted by Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat. They cover different cases involving murders, missing people, and serial killers. Each episode I’ve listened to, I’ve gotten full-body chills.

Being a college student, I’m constantly on the go. I don’t have as much time to sit down and watch a show. But if I’m driving or on a walk, I am listening to a Crime Junkie episode.

My Top Full-Body Chills Episodes:

Some episodes can be difficult to get through, but Ashley and Brit’s Storytelling keeps me going. With each episode, I do my best to remember the victims. Ever since I became a Crime Junkie, I’ve tried to be more aware of my surroundings and constantly be prepared for anything. I’m not going to lie, sometimes I get paranoid over the smallest things, but It’s important to stay alert.

But despite the occasional fears, Crime Junkie is a great podcast to binge and to feed your true-crime needs
