The clothing brand Princess Polly is very popular with college students lately and has grown into a huge name that pops up everywhere. I am constantly seeing influencers reviewing them and talking about how much they love their clothes. When I first heard of Princess Polly, I was so excited, until I realized their sizing only went up to a size 12. As a mid-sized woman, I was discouraged by this. Then one day, I saw a plus-sized influencer reviewing the new Princess Polly Curve Collection. The new collection goes from a size 14 to a size 20. This still is a little narrow for my liking, but it is definitely a step up from their original sizing.
The company came out with a pretty large collection for it being so new, with many style options to choose from. There are options for every event, from loungewear to casual tops and pants, to more formal skirts and dresses. One of my only grievances is that there are many color options for the same styles. I feel as though they could have done better with this, for instance, producing more styles, instead of many color options for each. However, they have come out with new styles since the launch of the collection, which is promising.
Then, of course, I had to try it out for myself. We are on a college student budget so I only ordered two items, but I was thoroughly impressed with them. I ordered the Becca Long Sleeve Crop Top in Orange, and the Holloway Wishes Mini Dress in Black. Both items were a size 16, which is what I normally buy. The top was true to size, but the shoulders felt a little narrow for me. It was very good quality, and overall a win for me. The dress was also true to size, and I had absolutely no complaints. She was absolutely immaculate.
Overall, I really loved the Princess Polly Curve Collection items, and I recommend all my curvy girls give it a shot. I am most definitely placing another order with them soon. We love when brands expand to inclusive sizing. Happy shopping!
