Hey little bro,
I cannot believe the time has finally come when my little brother is GRADUATING high school. It feels like just yesterday we were playing soccer in the backyard, sneaking and staying up past midnight playing Call of Duty Zombies, or talking to each other through the walls using our knocking morse code. I wish I had taken the time to cherish these small moments because they went by too fast.
Every single memory we’ve made together has been some of the highlights of my life and I’m so immensely proud of you for achieving this milestone. You’ve worked so hard these past few years and it has been a privilege to watch you grow into this amazing young man you have become. You’re kind-hearted, welcoming and an overall gem to be around and I’m so proud to call you my brother.
Your entire life is about to change completely. Your childhood home will now become a place that you just visit. Waking up and going downstairs to your parents and dog will not be a part of your daily routine. All the people you have surrounded yourself with these past few years will go on their own paths. I know it may seem scary and the change may be challenging, but at least we’ll have each other. This new chapter in your life will be one of the most amazing experiences you’ll have and I know you’ll continue to prosper.
I’m so happy that we get to experience college together at UCF and I’m positive you will excel as a Knight. Sure, I will miss walking down the hallway and bugging you, but at least I can drive down the street and continue to do so. I will cherish our childhood memories forever, but I can’t wait to make some college ones.
