I see cerulean waves rolling βΒ
inching closer towards me.
I squint the sunβs glare reflected β
my shimmering eyes see glimmers and glints.
I hear symphonies of beach days β
laughs harmonize with the waves that roar
I hear my heartbeat pounding β
Trying to escape me.
I taste the sea breeze β
Itβs seasoned with far too much salt
I feel my worries trailing behind me β
I run.
The bay washes over my feet β
I feel at peace.
