Alexa Lathom

Alexa Lathom is a writer and social media team member at the Her Campus at UVA chapter. She writes articles and creates social media posts about all things related to women in college, including but not limited to: culture, fashion, entertainment, and student life.

Beyond Her Campus, Alexa hopes to get involved in more clubs and activities related to media creation and/or community engagement. She enjoys meeting new members of the community at UVA and building new connections across a variety of groups. Her goals for this year in Her Campus are to create content that many students, not limited to UVA, are able to relate to, enjoy, or use as a guide for their lives. She is currently a second year at the University of Virginia, undeclared in her major but exploring in the College of Arts and Sciences. Some areas of interest include Media Studies, Sociology, Psychology, and potentially Global Studies or Computer Science.

In her free time, Alexa enjoys playing volleyball, practicing calligraphy, and listening to music. She is a dedicated fan of Harry Styles, Noah Kahan, and Love Island UK and loves any and all word puzzles. You can most likely catch her at all types of UVA athletic events as cheering on the Hoos is one of her favorite parts of being at the university.
