Alexandra M. Torres Rodríguez is a fifth year undergraduate student at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez majoring in English Literature with a minor in Writing and Communications and a certificate in Film Studies. She is a writer for HerCampus UPRM, where she focuses on topics such as literature, film, pop culture, and politics.
Among her other extracurriculars she is the social media manager of the PCSA (Pop Culture Student Association), a tutor for CUA (Center for University Access), and a member of Cinémathèque. She is passionate about filmmaking taking up the role of director and director of photography for multiple short films.
She nurtures a love for traveling, which has led her to study abroad at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. In her free time she loves to catch up on her reading list and "Letterboxd" watchlist. Also, she has an affinity for coffee, Chappell Roan and Lady Bird edits.
