My name is Alexis Cowles and I am currently a student at Saint Louis University! I am majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. I am from Omaha, Nebraska where I have lived my entire life. Back home I work as a barista and a nanny to the two most adorable kids on planet earth. I have always enjoyed writing and I am looking forward to getting to share my work here!
As a college student my life is insanely busy, however, I have lots of hobbies I do in my free time. I love to play pickleball, listen to music, go on long walks, bake, workout, and clean! I am a self- proclaimed shopping addict and enjoy learning about fashion. I love to find new neighborhoods to walk around in and I will never turn down a trip to go get coffee. My life may seem mundane to some, but I find it to be beautiful. Life is what you make of it, and I choose to focus on the positives.
As an eighteen year old girl, navigating life can be a bit overwhelming. I hope to write pieces that people my age, and all ages, can relate to. I hope share the beauty in every day experiences.
