Alicia Steinmann is a staff writer at Her Campus at New York University. She is passionate about covering the entertainment industry, women in the media, culture, and lifestyle.

Beyond Her Campus, Alicia is pursuing a BFA in Drama with minors in Producing and Entertainment Business. She is a candidate for the Tisch Drama Honors program and is currently writing her thesis. She has written extensively on the works of Shakespeare, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and Elena Ferrante—all authors who inspire Alicia, respectively.

In her free time, Alicia enjoys reading (Naomi Wolf is her current literary obsession), playing her guitar, and going to coffee shops around New York City. She loves listening to classic rock and journaling her thoughts when she's not in rehearsal.
