Angelina DeSalvo

Hi! My name is Angelina DeSalvo and I am currently a sophomore at Kent State University majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Marketing and Italian Studies. In the spring of next year I will be spending a whole semester in Florence, Italy. I enjoy traveling to new places and am very eager for that chapter to come. I love all things fashion (not surprising since it is what I am studying) and posting on my social media. I have a decent following on Instagram (3,500) and enjoy filling my follower’s feeds with posts and stories that are meaningful as well as being aesthetically pleasing to look at.
In my free time, I love to bake. My most favorite good that I have baked recently would have to be lemon meringue pie. I also love to spend time with my friends and family (including my German shepherd beagle, Nico), and dancing. I danced recreationally for 12 years (age 5-17) when I lived at home, now doing it in my free time or in my bedroom while my roommate is sleeping.
Currently I work at Hollister in my local mall, which has tremendously aided in my interest in fashion merchandising. I get to see the behind the scene of what really goes into running a corporate retail store. I am not exactly sure what career I would like to pursue with my Fashion degree, but something along the lines of marketing. I am very excited to join the HerCampus community and feel like I am a good fit to represent this brand.
