Anisha Patel is an up and coming member of the Events Planning team for Her Campus San Francisco. She wants to use this position to encourage others to take interest in this community. She wants to be able to shine light on an empowering group of people through collaborations, connections, and events.
Though it only may be her second and final year at San Francisco State, she was able to complete three Associate degrees from Ohlone college- in Communication Studies, Liberal Arts: Communication Emphasis, and Human Development Studies. Currently, she is majoring in Communications with minors in Education and Special Education. Aside from her life at school and Her Campus, she was previously a veterinarian technician for two years. This led her to take up dog walking and sitting as a summer side hustle. Patel has also worked at a summer math camp during her high school years and simultaneously acting as a youth group leader, both giving her opportunities to plan group activities, bonding sessions, and understand what it takes to bring a group of people together.
Being a Bay Area girl, she still loves exploring what the area has to offer. She loves adding to her already ginormous book collection, creating obscure playlists, making intricate pinterest boards, and hanging out with her favorite people. She aspires to create long lasting memories that’ll last a life time.
