Ariana Nolte is a writer at the Her Campus at UVA chapter. She is currently a first-year student planning to major in Biochemistry with a minor in business. She is very excited to start writing articles for Her Campus! Topics she enjoys include health and wellness, study tips, and travel.
Beyond Her Campus, Ariana is a member of the pre-veterinary society and Latinx peer mentoring program at UVA. She has really enjoyed connecting with other students who have Peruvian heritage like her. Professionally, she has interned with James River Equine Practice and Veterinary Rehabilitation Services of Virginia. They made her realize her love for the profession. She hopes to attend veterinary school after her four years at UVA and become an equine sports medicine veterinarian.
In her free time, Ariana enjoys traveling, going on walks, grabbing bagels from Bodo’s, and playing with puppies. She loved visiting Sweden in Summer '22 and would love to return. She loves winding down with a good TV show and is always looking for recommendations. Her current favorite is Scandal on Hulu. Her favorite artists are Noah Kahan and Olivia Rodrigo. She even went to an OR concert this past summer.
