Asha Varma

Hi! I’m Asha, and I’m a senior at NYU. While my love for writing lead me to studying journalism in college, I am also a pre-med student (weird combo, I know!) and plan to pursue my long-standing dream of becoming a doctor. I’ve always believed that journalism is an intersectional field, and the ability to communicate effectively through writing can be particularly useful in a future in the medical field as well. Nonetheless, I also enjoy writing about travel, lifestyle, beauty, pop culture, as well as current news stories. My personal interests include travel, food/cooking, and photography.
