Aster Bariel is a new writer at the Her Campus at Pace University chapter. They anticipate writing pieces on entertainment, mental health, experiences, and more.
Aster is a sophomore at Pace University with a major in Film and Screen Studies. At Pace University, they are a part of the Film Club. Before Pace University they played a big role in Natomas Charter School’s Drama Department, acting in many productions and producing a day long theater festival. They have also been a part of their high school LINK Crew as the LINK Crew Chair. Also, within their time in high school, they earned the role of Assistant House Manager and Usher at the Benvenuti Performing Arts Center.
Aster is a big film nerd, and they love all types of movies and television. Their top three movies are currently Omni Loop by Bernardo Britto, Get Out by Jordan Peele, and Little Women by Greta Gerwig. They also enjoy reading, but especially young adult novels. Aster lives off of music, with a large cassette and cd collection as well as some vinyl. Aster always has a song playing, and they love all genres of music with a special place in their heart for rock music.
