Auden Murphy is a writer for Her Campus at the University of Texas at Austin. She enjoys writing about life and loves getting to share her stories and experiences with others! She will talk your ear off over a cup of coffee, and as a former Starbucks barista, her favorite drink is an iced French vanilla latte with sweet cream cold foam!
She is an Interpersonal Communication Studies major, a member of the UT Moody Communications Council, and is specifically in the Department of Community Engagement. She is fascinated by storytelling, media, day-to-day communication, and the role of empathy in the world. She hopes to pursue a career that allows her to influence one or all of these fields.
When not writing, she is an avid reader of many genres, including fiction and horror. Her favorite movies include 'How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days,' 'Cars,' and 'Grease.' She loves making Spotify playlists for every conceivable mood/event, cooking pasta, and planning activities to do with friends and family!
