Hello! I am Avery, and I am a freshman at Ohio State. I am a Political Science major, and I love to write just about anything. I am from Long Island, New York, and since being here, I can say I miss my bagels and pizza.
Some of my hobbies include playing lacrosse, hanging out with friends in the oval and trying all the food options we have on campus of course. Recently, me and my friends have also picked up racquetball, which is super fun to play at the RPAC!
My passion for writing began when I joined my high school's newspaper my freshman year. I felt like I was able to give people a voice and allowed the community to hear their stories. Fun fact about me, I actually prefer writing with a pen and paper more than typing…even though teachers and peers have told me I have chicken scratch handwriting. The number of written assignments I have had to rewrite is not even funny. Nonetheless, the substance to me is what really matters!
