Chloe Gough

Hi! I am Chloe Gough! I am a junior at the University of Kansas and am double majoring in Psychology and Journalism.

I have always loved writing and felt it was a way for me to communicate my feelings and emotions in a meaningful way. Because of this, I started writing opinion articles for the University Daily Kansan during the 2022-2023 academic year and fell in love with it! I loved getting to share my own opinions about topics I was actually passionate about!

Besides articles, you can also catch me on Jayhawk Jukebox, a music show through KU's journalism school! But back to my articles...

My pieces are typically centered around all things social and cultural! I love sharing my thoughts about new trends, things going on in the world of pop culture, and experiences with mental health (this is definitely where the psych major in me comes out). I feel that having open conversations can be fun and can connect us with others – something I hope my pieces will do.
