Emma Leeman

Emma Leeman serves as a designer for Her Campus. In addition to writing articles, she works with the design team to create assets for social media while implementing this year's theme aesthetic.

Emma is currently a freshman at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, majoring in Visual Communication Design. Outside of Her Campus, she pursues art and design through various avenues. She has freelanced in graphic design, illustrated a children’s book, designed a logo for her highschool student government, co-designed her highschool newspaper, led art and design clubs in highschool, and taught a fine arts class for kids. Emma has also attended several pre-college programs for graphic design in order to learn and grow in her artistic skills. At Jefferson, she is a member of AIGA. She is excited to grow in her creative thinking and design skills at Jefferson, and make friendships along the way.

In her free time, Emma enjoys any type of artistic related activity. Some of these include painting, drawing, sculpting, and photography. Outside of art and design, Emma enjoys hiking, biking, climbing, reading, watching an episode of Gilmore Girls, and traveling. Most of all, Emma loves painting in acrylic while listening to her favorite band, ABBA.
