Fatima Khan

My name is Fatima Khan and I am in my second year of Honors Life Science at McMaster University. I hope to pursue a career in the healthcare field in the future, although I'm not completely sure exactly what yet. I aim to explore my interests and options during my undergrad journey and hopefully find what I am most passionate to pursue.

I was born in Pakistan, lived in Saudi Arabia, and moved to Canada when I was six. After living in Mississauga, we settled in Hamilton when I was 12. I’m deeply grateful for my parents’ sacrifices in giving my brothers and me a better life. Their hard work inspires me, and I’m determined to make them proud by becoming a successful and impactful member of society.

I stay busy with academics, but in my free time, I love playing tennis, swimming, and spending time with friends. I have a strong passion for animals—I have three cats of my own and volunteer at a cat shelter on weekends. Alongside that, I also work part-time at Winners.
