Fiona Van De Graaff

Fiona Van De Graaff is a writer for the HerCampus chapter at Washington State University. She is currently a freshman at WSU pursuing a theoretical mathematics major within the pre-med track and an honors student. In the past, she has helped teach youth and adolescents about writing through the non-profit organization the Cabin. She has also worked with the literary magazine at her high school and is currently an editor for the LandEscapes Literary Journal in college. Her writing has won awards from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards and the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence.
Outside of writing, Fiona enjoys singing, learning mandarin, playing the piano, weightlifting, walking, and dancing poorly in her free time. She is excited to pursue medical school after graduation and hopes to become a doctor in the emergency room. She also loves consuming and discussing TV shows, movies, and books, with Good Omens, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Fight Club, and Moulin Rouge being some of her favorites.
