Gabriela Rivera

Gabriela Rivera is Junior Editor at Her Campus and a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. She is pursuing a degree in English Literature, along with a teaching license and a minor in Writing & Communications. In addition to her academic endeavors and her role as editor, she serves as Co-President of the English Department Student Association (EDSA). Her strong passion for literature, storytelling, and media analysis shines through in her writing and editorial work, as she strives to inspire others with her words.

In her free time, Gabriela finds solace in a wide array of interests. A true bookworm, some of her favorites include Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray," Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein," and Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice." She also has a deep appreciation for music, with artists like Chappell Roan and Kate Bush, as well as various video game soundtracks, frequently on repeat. Additionally, she is an avid collector of trinkets; you are likely to hear her coming from a mile away due to the clinking of her many keychains.
