Ghirmawit Diglel Tesfay

Ghirmawit Diglel is the name, but I go by Dibu. Born in Eritrea but raised in Uganda. I am an ambivert; depending on the circumstances, it might be a combination of introverted and outgoing. I’m on my journey to challenge myself and learn more things, all while being a full-time Communication Science student with honors at UvA and doing side quests.

I love to read, always have, and more than likely, always will. I love painting, going out, trying new things, or even staying in and just watching movies.

Alongside my studies and creative projects, I stay busy with extracurriculars like volunteering and joining student groups. These activities are more than just a break from academics—they’re a chance for me to connect with others and give back to the community. They add a meaningful layer to my university experience, helping me grow and build relationships outside the classroom.
