Gianna D'Alessandro

Gianna is a current junior at Montclair State University. She is majoring in visual arts with a hope of working in graphic design in the future. Her favorite mediums include photography, videography, acrylic paint, and graphite pencil. She has been working with photography for the last 6 years with experience ranging from event photography, personal photoshoots, to creative photography.

Gianna joined the Montclair chapter of HerCampus about a year and a half ago now. She was initially drawn to it by seeing a graphic reposted on a member's personal instagram. She found she loved the sense of girlhood it brought when she eventually joined. It is a supportive and creative environment that pushes each member to grow within themselves and their work.

This year, she decided to take on a leadership role in her chapter as the Vice President. She has always had an outgoing personality and been a big people person, so she felt this role would be perfect as she is a great communicator. She looks forward to hosting events and helping to push Her Campus into the spotlight on her campus.
