Joeie Isabella Mercado

Joeie Isabella is an events co-director at Her Campus DePaul. As events co-chair, Joeie oversees and organizes the events at DePaul’s Her Campus chapter. She organizes fundraisers, volunteer opportunities, and pitches creative ways to unite the chapter. Beyond Joeie’s executive-board role, she also has a role on Her Campus’ marketing team, where she helps analyze the strategies and performance of Her Campus DePaul’s social media accounts and how Her Campus can increase viewership.
 
Joeie’s a first-year marketing student. She manages the difficult balance between being a full-time commuter student, a part-time worker, and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House of Charities when time allows. In the past, Joeie has published her own work on TheCleverFilipina. In the future, Joeie hopes to use marketing to find a more holistic approach to how businesses market themselves on social media in order to make social media a safer creative space for everyone.
 
When Joeie finds the space in her beloved Google calendar, she enjoys hanging out with her friends, reading, listening to music, and cooking. Although college student budgets and time are tight, Joeie will always find ways to squeeze in concerts by her favorite artists, a Canes box combo, and a dragon drink.
