Kai Ward is on the writing and social media teams at the Her Campus at the University of Virginia chapter. She looks forward to developing articles on various topics, including career, culture, life, style, and wellness.
As a current first-year at the University of Virginia, she intends to double major in Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law and Leadership and Public Policy on a Pre-Law track. After completing her undergraduate education, she will attend law school. Kai is involved on campus as a member of the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society and First-Year Council.
Beyond Her Campus, Kai volunteers at local community organizations and owns a clothing company. She has prior experience in the journalism field and has always enjoyed writing. She is looking forward to expanding her media and creative writing skillsets while at the University of Virginia.
In her free time, Kai loves to go on walks with her dog, Gus, spend time with her family and friends, and work in her communities. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, public policy, and law. She is excited to engage and contribute to her college community in her first year with HerCampus!
