Hi! My name is Kaitlyn Such and I am from Cleveland, Ohio. I graduated from Strongsville High School where I engaged in many sports, honors courses and extracricuulars. I played softball for 2 years, and golf for 3 years. I have danced in a competitive setting for about 14 years where I learned my love for dance. Within my high school, I took numerous AP classes, as well as dual credit courses with a local community college. For honors societies, I was in National Honors Society, Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta, National French Honors Society, and National English Honors Society. Aside from that, I participated in Key Club, Leadership Academy, DECA, and was the President of the DARE Role Model club. I now attend The American University in Washington, D.C. where I study International Studies.
For my professional background, I have worked three jobs, all relating to the food and customer service industry. My first job was at Pulp Smoothie and Juice Bar where I was a smoothie barista for about 6 months. My next job is at Matteo's Casual Italian Restaurant and I worked as a hostess/ expo runner for 2 years. I am still currently employed there when I come back from college on seasonal breaks. Lastly, I am employed as a barista at a local Cleveland coffee shop called The Grounded Bean. Same with Matteo's Casual Italian Restaurant, I go back to work there on seasonal shifts.
When it comes to personal interests, I enjoy many diverse actives and hobbies that fill my time. Aside from dance, I enjoy going to the lake and participating in activities such as jet skiing or hanging out on a boat. Near the lake is Cedar Point so I have my season pass to ride rollercoasters during the summer. I love watching movies and tv shows with my friends when I am bored. I also love exploring new coffee shops in Cleveland and D.C. because I enjoy iced vanilla lattes. With this said, I love to try new hobbies and some I want to try in the future are knitting, skiing, and photography.
