Kajal was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She began studying at the University of Victoria in 2022, and is now in her third year in the writing program.
Kajal specializes in creative nonfiction, journalism and screenwriting. With a wide range of written work, Kajal has written pieces with themes of race, mental health, and comedic short films and pilots.
In her free time, Kajal enjoys reading, listening to music, knitting, and playing solitaire.
