Kami is an Editor at Her Campus at the King’s College London (KCL) chapter, overseeing all the wellness articles published for this academic year.
Kami is completing her MSc in Health Psychology at KCL and is currently applying for funding to do a PhD in women’s health in 2024. In the gap year between her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she worked in two health-related research assistant posts at the University of Sussex: one involved working on the effects of the national 4 Day Week trial on the brain, body and mind, and the other involved leading the patient and public involvement work on an EPSRC-funded project aiming to improve holistic diagnosis of heart disease using digital technologies. After completing her MSc, she aspires to qualify as a Chartered Health Psychologist and specialise in functional medicine approaches to treating menstrual disorders, such as PCOS and endometriosis.
Beyond Her Campus, Kami loves reading, hosting dinners for her nearest and dearest, and dancing to her favourite throwback jams. She loves travelling around the world (although Italy and Greece will always be her faves!) but is also a big fan of a sofa day and a crappy rom-com or a mind-blowing psychological thriller!
