Kaylee Baumann (she/her/hers) is a journalism student at Illinois State University. Baumann has a wide-range of knowledge and interests giving her a unique voice and perspective. Baumann has a passion for fashion and enjoys discussing the nuances of artistic self-expression through outward appearance. She describes her fashion aesthetic as 70’s pixie-clowncore. Baumann is also fascinated by all things dark and disturbing. “The Spooky Ghostly Hour” is a podcast where Baumann discusses her favorite works of horror through a feminist lens. Baumann prides herself on her knowledge of intersectional-feminist theory and her love for brilliant women. Baumann has big dreams of celebrating extraordinary women as her full-time job. Baumann plans to develop her own feminist magazine that will create a community of women building each other up by highlighting outstanding women in the community (spoiler alert: all women are outstanding women in their community). Baumann is an advocate for self love and mental health. After dealing with major depression for many years, Baumann is celebrating a mental health breakthrough. Baumann is also a comedy writer. She is currently working on a fantasy, animated, stoner-comedy sitcom called The Adventures of Harriet and Troll
