Keionna Herrera, from New Orleans, Louisiana, is a part of the social media committee for the Her Campus at Texas A&M chapter. She writes fun entertainment and pop culture pieces ranging from the music industry to reality television. She also touches on important topics and things that readers care about and can relate to such as mental health, college life, friendships, and more.
Outside of Her Campus, Keionna is a freshman at Texas A&M University, majoring in Communication with a minor in Journalism and certification in Social Media. She is a Posse Foundation Leadership Scholarship recipient and participates in lots of community service, social, and other various events around campus. She is also a part of a women's organization on campus, Aggie Classics. She also has an on campus job and works at American Eagle back in New Orleans.
Aside from school and writing, Keionna is a pop culture fanatic and spends majority of her free time engaging in different forms of media. She loves going to concerts, hanging out with friends, online shopping, trying new foods, and scrolling endlessly on TikTok or X. She also loves to facetime her dog and cat back at home! Keionna hopes to have a career and presence in the media industry in a variety of ways — maybe one day interviewing on the Met Gala carpet or at New York Fashion Week!
