Kiana Kalahele is a senior business administration marketing and English journalism double major at Chapman University, with a minor in psychology. She has been writing, editing, and reporting news, politics, and entertainment stories since her freshman year of college.
Aside from writing for Her Campus, she currently serves as the news editor for Chapman's student-run newspaper, The Panther. She has also written for other publications, including 60 Seconds Magazine, the Voice of OC, and Hawaii News Now.
Kiana is originally from Waipahu, Oahu, and served as a Dow Jones News Fund fellow during the summer of 2023. She enjoys going to concerts and art museums, reading, crocheting, traveling, and dancing hip-hop and hula, which she has been doing since the age of six.
