Lwazi Mpofu-Mketwa

I am an undergraduate student who was originally born in Zimbabwe, raised in South Africa and recently relocated to Canada. I am a Social Sciences student who is yet to declare a major. I am looking forward to; learning from those around me, improving my self-esteem, becoming a good academic student as well as developing my skills as a writer.

I am passionate about community development, human behavior, pop culture, fashion, international cinema, cuisine and languages among other topics. I hope to integrate my interests in my future career as well as give back to the community in a sincere and helpful manner which serves their needs. I plan to consume more current affairs media to be well-rounded These are the main topics I intend to focus researching and writing on.

In my free time, I enjoy watching South Asian films & series and catching up on the behind the scenes footage of the production. I also love discovering new music artists and expanding on the genres I typically listen to. One of my goals in the next few months is to start working on writing; short stories, plays and poetry. I’m also really enthusiastic about improving my fitness and endurance.
