Madison Taylor

Hey girls, I’m Madison Taylor, a second year Sports Management major and Marketing minor from Long Island, New York. I am super excited to meet everyone who is a part of this organization and making new bonds. Let me share some things about myself. I love traveling and trying new things. I always think due to technology and certain limits we do not appreciate or try activities that are both right in our towns or far away.
I am the type of person that loves to be occupied, 9 times out of 10, I will not turn something down. Which is why I want to pursue sports management as my career. I plan to manage promotions, PR, and media relations for sports teams and athletes. I am applying for an internship within the NBA focusing on the media side of the association. It includes managing relationships with the press, coordinating interviews, overseeing social media platforms, and creating promotional materials platforms. The internship will also negotiate broadcasting rights and deals.
With this being my second year, I am dedicated to making new friendships and stepping out of my shell. I will make sure to be a great edition by always putting my best foot forward and treating everyone a part of the team as I want to be treated.
