Maliha Mahmud

My name is Maliha Mahmud, currently in my third year pursuing a major in Advertising with a minor in Business Administration. My journey in marketing began as the VP of Marketing for various student organizations in high school. Since then, I've further strengthened my skills with my internship my freshman summer, and through various leadership roles in organizations pertaining to marketing, such as Her Campus. This year, I am Her Campus's Director of PR/Events so I am very excited to organize events for our members!

I was born and raised in South Florida. Some of my interests include trying out new food, baking, and reading books. I also have a passion for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle, which has fueled my motivation to continue a career in these industries.

My ultimate goal is to specialize in marketing analytics and brand management, with a focus on the retail and beauty fields. I believe HerCampus will provide me with a great opportunity to expand my leadership skills, deepen my knowledge on public relations, and allow me to gain creative visions for the organization.
