Marbella Ramirez Arrazola is a contributing writer for Her Campus NYU. She specializes in culture writing, specifically in fashion and music writing. She mainly writes profiles and reviews, however she's not afraid to try something different.
Marbella has been a journalist since her humble beginnings at the student paper in middle school in 2015. Since then, she has contributed to her high school paper, The San Diego Union-Tribune and EnVi Magazine. Most recently, she was Editor-in-Chief of The Cougar Chronicle, Cal State University San Marcos' student publication. Currently, she is a graduate student concentrating in Magazine and Digital storytelling at NYU's Arthur L. Carter Journalism institute and works freelance.
In her free time, Marbella loves to take a step back from her busy schedule and work on her embroidery or bead a new pair of earrings. If you can't find her at home, you can probably find her strolling along Fifth Avenue window shopping, at a sample sale, or at a thrift store buying another pair of shoes she doesn't need.
