Mia Kidwell

Hey Everyone! My name is Mia and I’m a junior from Maryland. I am new to the Editorial team for HerCampus and I have a few topics I would like to write about. Some of these things include entertainment, health in people of color, and self-care remedies. This is my first official writing position and my first time being apart of a collaborative group solely made for writing. I have presented some of my work to Men’s Health Activists as apart of a previous internship opportunity. I currently attend Delaware State University to obtain my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Biology. I plan to receive my Master’s after completing my Bachelor’s. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports like basketball and volleyball. I love catering to the community around me, whether that’s through volunteer work or just taking everything in. I have 5 brothers and sisters so I value my free time and self-care graciously. I’m very passionate about creating equality in the world and spreading truth to the world.
