Morgan Stephens

Morgan Stephens is a Sophomore Broadcast Journalism major from Atlanta,Ga. She aspires to become a Sports analyst and hopes to appear on ESPN in the future. Morgan also shares an interest in music, poetry, and writing. She hopes to continue to build on her passion, love, and appreciation for Journalism through HerCampus.
Morgan fell in love with sports through bonding with her step father. He was a big time UNC fan and fan of Basketball which can explain my strong liking for Basketball. I had a hard time bonding with my step father the usual way like by hanging out one on one, going on ice cream dates, father daughter dances, and etc. For Morgan not only did it bring her closer with her step father, it sparked an interest in her favored sport of Basketball.
She has now been enrolled into Howard University to pursue her dreams and aspirations. HerCampus felt like home to Morgan with the welcoming members from the Howard chapter. She hopes to amplify her Journalism skills through HerCampus and to create long lasting bonds throughout her duration in the Howard chapter.
