Nadia Mautawalli

Hello, I am Nadia, a new editor for the Her Campus page. In my free time, I enjoy playing the violin, working on art projects, and reading. For years I have loved embroidery and sewing various outfits. While it takes a lot of time and commitment to either make an outfit, or embroider something on a garment, the end result makes up for the time spent. Additionally, I find it very relaxing to pick up an embroidery hoop and begin to sew after a tiring day.
I also have a passion for writing, which makes sense, given I love reading books and learning new facts. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I also love horror, murder mystery, and non-fiction works as well. On rainy days, I love making popcorn and watching a cheesy rom-com movie. I love the cozy atmosphere created by the sound of the gentle rain, tapping against the window, while the buttery scent of popcorn wafts through the air.
I am a bio major, minoring in music. I chose to major in biology, as I have a deep passion for learning about human physiology, along with human psychology. I have played the violin for around ten years now, and plan to continue for as long as I am able.
