My name is Nishtha (she/her) and I am a first-year sociology major at Carleton University. Coming from a complex multicultural background with some touch of French culture associated with Indian spices and African vibes, I am here to provide an intersectional viewpoint on subject matters. I dedicate my free time to researching my interests, writing, and reading poetry.
From politics to global gastronomy, by way of environmental concerns and musical discovery, I intend to navigate readers through my Meli-Melo world. But most importantly, I make it a mission to shed light on female success stories and women’s empowerment. I have a 6-month experience in journalism in Mauritius where I delved into a plethora of subjects and conducted documentaries as well.
I am eager to bring my contribution to a female-led magazine because SHE is important!
