Palk Malhi

Palk Malhi is a first-year writer for the Her Campus chapter at the University of Virginia. She recently joined the team this semester and is thrilled to produce content for an audience of college women! She was a part of her high school’s writing center as a tutor and blogger.

Palk is from Centreville, Virginia. She is a true NOVA gal in the sense that she has lived in every part of the area. As for her major, she is currently undecided. However, she loves to learn languages and is currently taking Spanish and Persian this semester. She hopes to study abroad one day, as she loves immersing herself in different cultures and visiting new places. Outside of writing for Her Campus, Palk is a member of the Indian Student Association and Sikh Student Association at UVA.

In her free time, Palk loves to read, lift, and make jigsaw puzzles. She loves a good matcha latte and anything to do with dark chocolate. She also loves to listen to Punjabi rap, Bollywood music, and Spanish rap. Her emotional support game to get her through a long study session is Fishdom, which she swears by. Palk is excited to share her writing with the Her Campus community!
