Poppy is a new member of the UVic chapter of Her Campus, having started her semester abroad in Victoria, Canada, from the University of Leeds. With her second semester set in Australia, Poppy is eager to be a part of a global community that focuses on empowering women.
As a History student, Poppy’s studies are motivated by uncovering and piecing together the stories of people’s lives. Her passion for bringing these stories to life has translated into an aspiration to the publishing industry. She hopes to gain valuable editorial experience at Her Campus and have some fun writing about far more recent topics!!
