Pritheva Zakaria is a writer at the Her Campus chapter at NYU. She likes to cover topics related to culture, entertainment, fashion, social media, art, food, and more. She is passionate about South Asian representation in media and tries to find ways to incorporate her Bengali culture into her work and share it with others.
Beyond Her Campus, she is a staff writer at the Washington Square News, where she writes for the Arts, Culture, and Opinion sections. She’s also a writer for Generasian, NYU’s Asian-based journalism club. She is an intern at Headliners in Education, a journalism site that’s run by students and is for students all over the world. She is also a poetry editor at the West 10th Review, one of NYU’s literary journals. Right now she is an Office Assistant at the NYU English Department. She is currently a junior at NYU studying Journalism and English.
In her free time, Pritheva enjoys reading fictional novels, exploring NYC, eating food, doing makeup, taking pictures, and binge-watching shows. She loves anything related to pop culture, and her current obsessions are Olivia Rodrigo and cats on TikTok.
