Hi! My name is Rebecca Messner. I was born in Hannover, Germany, and raised in Richmond, Virginia. I am German-Colombian-American, and I am currently a second-year Advertising and Marketing Communications student at the Fashion Institute of Technology, double minoring in Economics and Film & Media Studies. I am pursuing a career in media as an aspiring journalist and producer.
My passions include writing, podcasting, producing, directing, and photography. I enjoy writing about culture, fashion, and politics.
Previously, I interned at Vitra headquarters in Basel, Switzerland, where I presented my proposal for their annual Art Basel collaboration. I've also collaborated on NYU Tisch film projects, served as Womenswear Chair of Runway27, and am Podcast Director and Host of Blush Magazine.
