Riya Tripathi

Riya is an Editor at Her Campus in King’s College London. She is currently in the second year of her BEng Biomedical Engineering degree.

An Indian born in Leicester and raised in Singapore, Riya has lived in more than three countries. She has experienced a multicultural environment which attributes to her expanded worldview. A lover of science and technology, Riya has always been intrigued by the subject of Biomedical Engineering. She hopes to do a PhD post her Masters and work in research and development to improve the quality of healthcare worldwide.

When Riya isn’t working on her university assignments, she enjoys taking long naps to unwind. She is an avid reader of thrillers and loves watching movies or short films (her favourites include critically acclaimed ones directed or written by women!). She is a huge fan of Cricket (especially of the Indian Cricket Team <3) and enjoys watching matches and discussing them with her friends and family. She looks forward to working at Her Campus!
