Rose Clarke is a contributing writer at the Her Campus at the New York chapter. She writes about all things pop-culture and entertainment, but focuses most of her efforts on wellness and mental health topics. She is specifically interested in combining the two and delving into mental health in the media as well as across college campuses.
Beyond Her Campus, Rose has written for the culture section of Washington Square News at NYU. Further, she has written, produced, and edited a podcast episode for All in a Day’s Work – NYU Wasserman Career Center’s podcast. In this episode she interviewed an NYU professor on the concept of combining one’s creative aspirations with “realistic” career goals. She is currently a junior at New York University, majoring in English Literature and taking psychology electives on the side. She intends to pursue Law post-grad.
In her free time, Rose enjoys running by the pier and exploring the city. She also loves watching Broadway shows and can often be found at the box office looking for last-minute discounted tickets. Rose is a proud consumer of reality television, specifically Too Hot to Handle and Survivor. Though she is an avid Survivor fan, she absolutely does not think she could ever participate in, let alone win, such a competition.
